He is a star: Rangers hand trial to David Beckham-esque Manchester United kid

Adam Berry, a Manchester United player who has drawn similarities to England great David Beckham, has been given a trial opportunity by Rangers.

Adam Berry, a 17-year-old England youth international, is under Rangers’ tutelage; he has participated in two of the team’s recent B-team games.

Adam Berry entered the game late in the second half of the B team’s 3-2 loss to Icelandic team Breidablik last week, since it was unknown how the young player would fare at Manchester United.

The winger/attacking midfielder also initiated a match between the Rangers Academy and Hearts’ B squad, which ended with the younger Gers losing 3-1 to the young Jambos.

Although an announcement regarding Adam Berry’s future has not yet been made, Rangers supporters will be closely monitoring the development of the young Manchester United player within the team.

Rangers trialist Adam Berry earns David Beckham comparison

Berry was once regarded highly at Old Trafford and made his debut with the Red Devils’ U17 squad at the age of 15, but it seems that he has dropped down the youth team hierarchy.

The kid also went viral in 2021 when a clip of Adam Berry scoring a David Beckham-esque wonder goal from the halfway line with the Manchester United youth team appeared online.

Following the release of a Netflix documentary about Beckham’s career last month, Rangers supporters will undoubtedly enjoy their own interpretation of the legendary former England captain, who is once again in style.

David Beckham, a savvy businessman and one of the most well-known football players of the twenty-first century, co-owns Inter Miami in Major League Soccer (MLS) and even awarded Lionel Messi, a former Rangers player, his most recent Ballon d’Or.

Rangers supporters will be hoping that the team can capitalize on Adam Berry’s obvious potential, since the Manchester United talent is ruled by the B team and Academy.

Regarding Ross McCausland’s rise to prominence this week, Rangers manager Philippe Clement made it apparent that he is not afraid to start young players at Ibrox.

Another Rangers Academy talent has been pictured in training ahead of the clash with Dundee as he looks to make his first appearance of the season.
