On Monday, Charlton’s U21 team will return to action at Sparrows Lane against Ipswich Town (KO 1pm GMT).

Following consecutive losses to Millwall and Swansea City in Professional Development League 2 – South, the young Addicks will be looking to go back to winning ways.

Despite having a game still to play, Chris Lock’s team is currently seventh in the league standings, eight points behind Monday’s visitors.

Ashley Boatswain scored twice in the first half to lead the Tractor Boys to a 2-0 victory over 10-man Colchester United last Tuesday.
