Ipswich Town vs. Bristol City player ratings: “Aggressive” defensive pair scores 8/10 as trio struggles

How the Robins fared in their 1-0 defeat to Ipswich Tow

Bristol City suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to EFL Championship highflyers Ipswich Town at Ashton Gate on Wednesday evening.

Nathan Broadhead’s bullet from the edge of the area gave the Tractor Boys an early lead, as Sam Morsy’s thunderbolt struck the post moments before the break.

In the second half, City showed greater energy and had chances through Tommy Conway and Rob Dickie. Harry Cornick’s shot, however, rolled painfully across the goal line and was cleared.

Nigel Pearson’s team drops to 13th place as a result, but they are still only two points out of the play-off spots.
