GOOD NEWS: An Ipswich Town player is back in the starting lineup this evening.

Kayden Jackson returns to the starting XI for Town’s away fixture against Bristol City this evening.

The 29-year-old replaces Wes Burns, who sustained a shoulder injury whilst on international duty with Wales, in the only change from the Blues’ last outing, a 4-2 home win over Preston earlier this month.

Elsewhere, Freddie Ladapo misses out on the matchday squad through an Achilles injury, with Janoi Donacien and Cameron Humphreys being named on the bench for Kieran McKenna’s side.

Ashton Gate will kick off at 7:45 p.m.

Bristol City: Conway, Dickie, Sykes, Bell, Gardner-Hickman, O’Leary, Pring, James, King, Knight, and Weimann (C).

Replacements: Bajic, Nelson, James, Idehen, Roberts, Cornick, Mehmeti, Yeboah, and Knight-Lebel.

Town: Jackson, Chaplin, Broadhead, Hirst, Luongo, Hladky, Williams, Woolfenden, Burgess, Davis, and Morsy (C).

Ersatz players: Ball, Humphreys, Taylor, Hutchinson, Harness, Scarlett, Walton, Clarke, Donacien, and Boltz.
