Lisa Lopez-Galvan’s daughter, who was killed during a Kansas City Chiefs parade, will carry on her mother’s DJing heritage
Missouri’s Kansas City (KCTV/Gray News) – A DJ named Liza Lopez-Galvan was murdered during the Kansas City Chiefs parade. Her daughter, 19, is now carrying on her DJing heritage.
Adriana Galvan has been in “the man cave” a lot, getting ready for her debut DJ event.
Galvan remarked, “A lot of my family and friends know it as the party house.” “We hold all of our gatherings here.”
Galvan wanted to “step up and take over” after her father had to cancel all the engagements her mother had planned before she passed away. Her first DJ gig was this past Saturday.
It’s a bittersweet thing, she said.
“We’re persevering.” It has been difficult these past few weeks, but we’re simply trying to be upbeat and truly honor her,” she remarked.
Galvan characterizes her mother as gregarious.
She was a really gregarious individual. On the street, she would strike up a conversation with a stranger. She was the one who would cheer you up if you were having a rough day,” she remarked.
Galvan made the decision to keep going by her mother’s DJ identity and even added the song “Ya Te Vi,” which her mother frequently performed at her performances, to the playlist for Saturday. She claims they would frequently sing it together.
“I would say I feel her.” I’m just thinking about her. She remarked, “Every time it plays, I hear her voice; I hear her singing in the car every day.
Galvan claims that in order to always have a little piece of her mother with her, she wears the bracelet her mother wore to the Chiefs parade.
Galvan and her family are appreciative of the outpouring of love and support and will keep them in their prayers.
“I’m grateful,” she said. “Thank you so much for everything you guys do for my family and me. I appreciate the love and support you give us on a daily basis.
