Atlanta Braves shut out of Gold Glove awards for 2023Braves shut out at home for first time this year as Phillies win NLDS opener | Chattanooga Times Free Press

Michael Harris II, Eddie Rosario, and Austin Riley are not included in this year’s awards, ending Atlanta’s three-year winning streak. Major League Baseball and Rawlings have announced the winners of the 2023 Gold Gloves, and no Atlanta Braves were able to take home a trophy.

Austin Riley was a finalist at third base, with the award going to Pittsburgh’s Ke’Bryan Hayes. This was an unusually competitive field because Nolan Arenado of the St. Louis Cardinals, who has won the award for the past ten years, struggled in the field in 2023 and was not considered for a Gold Glove.

Michael Harris II was a finalist in centerfield, with the award going to Brenton Doyle of the Colorado Rockies. Doyle earned his first Gold Glove with outstanding glove work in Coors Field, finishing as the best defensive player in baseball by some measures.

Eddie Rosario was a finalist in left field, with the award going to Ian Happ of the Chicago Cubs.
