Breaking news: Rams Activate Key Defensive Player From IR

The Los Angeles Rams knew going into the 2023 NFL season that they would be relying on a lot of young and inexperienced talent on both sides of the field.

The Rams have a reputation for having several star players, but they were forced to cut their veterans this offseason in order to clear their books.

Los Angeles brought in a new wave of rookies and undrafted players to fill in the gaps, with mixed results thus far.
Several players have shown promise and appear to be long-term pieces for the franchise, but there have been some expected growing pains.

Several returners, most notably defensive tackle Bobby Brown, who has been on injured reserve since suffering an MCL sprain against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5.

Brown, on the other hand, was able to log practices all week and was eventually activated from IR via the team’s official Twitter account.
Brown is a solid nose tackle who has been able to deflect some of Aaron Donald’s attention up front.

While Brown was out, defensive coordinator Raheem Morris gave Kobie Turner, whom the team drafted in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, more opportunities.

Turner has been impressive up front and is steadily improving, so it will be interesting to see how the Rams divide snaps between him and Brown.

With Brown coming off a knee injury, he won’t see a full workload, but it may only be a matter of time before he’s back to playing the majority of the snaps.
