Ferrari complete first fire-up with their brand-new 2025 F1 machines….read more

Ferrari has achieved a significant milestone in preparation for the 2025 Formula 1 season by successfully firing up the engine of their new SF-25 car. This event took place in the Vehicle Assembly department at their Maranello headquarters, with key figures such as Vice President Piero Ferrari, Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur, and Deputy Team Principal Jérôme D’Ambrosio in attendance.

 

The SF-25 is set to be officially unveiled on February 19, 2025, ahead of its debut at the Australian Grand Prix. Prior to the launch, Ferrari will participate in Formula One’s inaugural shakedown show in London on February 18, followed by a brief shakedown test at their Fiorano test track. During this test, drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new car.

 

This engine fire-up marks a pivotal moment in Ferrari’s preparations for the upcoming season, highlighting the team’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
