Everton and Liverpool are both interested in signing a teenager from Germany.

Both Merseyside teams have their sights set on Schalke 04’s Assan Ouedraogo, a midfield player.

According to Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany, clubs outside of Germany will be able to purchase the 17-year-old for €20 million.

The Reds have Jurgen Klopp, who is a huge fan of Ouedraogo’s skills, while the Toffees have been scouting the player.

After that, the player will have to decide between the Reds’ standing and increasing their playing time at Everton.

Elite teams are vying for the midfielder in large part because of his versatility—he can play all over the pitch.
