Good news: Burnly star Missing against Everton is being discussed by Vincent Kompany.

In preparation for Wednesday’s EFL Cup match against Everton, Burnley manager Vincent Kompany hinted that he might not take any chances with Burnley star Lyle Foster. (1 November).

Prior to the match at Goodison Park on Wednesday night, the Manchester City legend spoke to the Burnley Express on October 31 but was unable to guarantee that Foster would be fit for action.

The important Turf Moor player was a major absence due to sickness for the Clarets on Saturday as they suffered a devastating 2-1 loss to Bournemouth. Kompany may decide to rest him against Everton to prepare for their upcoming Premier League match, which they must win.

When asked whether Foster might be available on Wednesday, Kompany responded, I hope so, but we will see.

The most important thing is to avoid taking any chances that the illness will benefit him in any way.

But I’m fairly confident it’s not going to be too bad.

Boost for Dyche

Despite the Clarets’ early season troubles, Burnley striker Foster has shown himself to be a valuable addition to the team since joining in January. In seven Premier League outings, he has already scored three goals.

Since the South African is, of course, their biggest and best threat, Sean Dyche and his club may benefit much if he sits out Wednesday’s match against Everton. Dyche will be facing his previous team, Burnley.

Given Burnley’s current difficulties, the Toffees will be expected to defeat their opponents and progress to the Carabao Cup quarterfinals; anything less could potentially be a major .

Sunday, October 29, saw the Toffees play as clinical and resilient as they were when it mattered against West Ham. Dyche will be instilling that mentality throughout the entire dressing room during this crucial run of games, which begins against the Clarets.

Given that Foster will be missing, it is highly unlikely that Kompany and his team will pull off an unexpected victory for Everton, who should be playing with a great deal of confidence and spirit right now.
