Huge Blow: Everton is concerned about “another” serious injury before their quarterfinal matchup with Fulham.

But yesterday was a new high for Sean Dyche’s team, as they triumphed over overwhelming odds to secure another crucial three points at Burnley’s home ground as relegation rivals.

Despite the Clarets’ dismal performance, the Toffees suffered two significant blows when Jarrad Branthwaite and Idrissa Gueye were suspended.

And it was prior to Vitaliy Mykolenko demonstrating yet another unexpected absence by being left off the starting lineup owing to an injury.

It doesn’t sound like good news, but Dyche has tried to give fans a new update.

When asked about the reason behind his half-time substitution, 52-year-old Abdullaye Doucoure replied, “Yes, he had a tight hamstring.”

We will simply have to wait and see about him as well. Doucts will most likely be the same, and Mykolenko is questionable for Tuesday.

After the suspensions, we have two backs—Idrissa Gana Gueye and Jarrad Branthwaite—but it’s a difficult one right now, especially with the full-back situation.

Which other players for Everton are hurt?

This illness has come at a disappointing moment, as the team faces one of its biggest games of the season and a great chance to advance to a Cup semifinal.

Having scored the most goals of any player on the Everton team with six, Doucoure has been their main talisman this season.

Mykolenko, in the meantime, has proven to be one of Dyche’s most improved players; his steely consistency down the left flank is essential.

Actually, his absence may have been the primary reason for yesterday’s tactical change, which went with three center defenders instead of two.

Alongside a few other celebrities, these two important players are placed on the treatment table; nonetheless, Dele Alli and Andre Gomes’ return to first-team practice will be much-needed to counteract this setback.

In order to maintain his team’s amazing run going forward, Dyche will need to navigate this quarterfinal matchup with Fulham carefully because it is still unclear whether Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young will be ready.
