Braves Brief: Does it make sense to insert Tommy Pham?

The Atlanta Braves will more than likely bring in a replacement for Eddie Rosario this offseason.

The Atlanta Braves enter the offseason hoping to improve the outfield and the pitching rotation.

The Athletic’s Braves insider David O’Brien discussed on X/Twitter why Tommy Pham would be a good fit in Atlanta.

O’Brien stated on X, “There is a guy, Tommy Pham, who I could see helping the both on the field and in the clubhouse.” “If they don’t pick up the Rosario option, they should consider Pham. Use the money somewhere else unless they want to keep Grissom around.”

Pham has been a part of Arizona’s World Series run after being acquired at the deadline from the New York Mets.

He has played in 50 games this season, hit.241 at the plate, and has six home runs. In addition, he is getting more recognition for his role in Arizona’s series two victory; in the game, which resulted in a 4–4 tie, he was replaced in the late innings by a pinch-hitter.

After receiving backlash on social media, he acknowledged that he had requested to be removed from the game. His teammate Jace Peterson, who was added to the World Series postseason roster, had never had the opportunity to bat in the series.

World Series Schedule

The 2023 World Series is tied at one game each as the series shifts to Arizona on Monday for three games.
