AC Milan have now agreed a deal to sign Yunus Musah from Valencia – a player who has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.

That is according to Fabrizio Romano.
So, what is the latest on Chelsea target Yunus Musah? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well – according to 90min – Chelsea tried to sign the United States international in January, and have remained in contact with his representatives with a view to trying again this summer.
However, AC Milan have now beaten Chelsea to Musah’s signature.
Romano believes a €20m (£17m) deal has been agreed between the Italian giants and Valencia, with the American now set to have a medical in Milan next week.
The 20-year-old will then sign a five-year contract once his medical examinations have been passed.

AC Milan have already been involved in Chelsea’s transfer window by signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic from the Blues.
Now, those at the San Siro have added another chapter, this time by pinching Musah from Chelsea.
Who Chelsea could sign instead as AC Milan agree Yunus Musah deal
Musah was not a top target for Chelsea, since Mauricio Pochettino is more interested in Moises Caicedo, but he was on the shortlist.
Nonetheless, Chelsea has to check the American off their list right away, so let’s look at the alternatives.
According to Sacha Tavolieri, Chelsea reportedly made a “ultimate approach” to sign Romeo Lavia after learning that Liverpool had made an offer.
However, as Football London reports, the Belgian has selected Liverpool, therefore Chelsea will face a difficult challenge in convincing him to alter his mind before a deal is completed.

Chelsea have also moved to sign another midfielder, Lesley Ugochukwu, for a fee of £23.1 million, according to Sky Sports.
Caicedo, despite arduous discussions with Brighton, might be signed if the scenario changes.
Keep an eye on this issue as we expect Chelsea to recruit a slew of new players over the coming month.
