Jack Harrison’s first Everton goal stunned Gary Lineker as the Toffees defeated Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The presenter of BBC Match Of The Day (7 October) praised the loanee from Leeds United who scored the Toffees’ first Premier League goal in their 3-0 victory over the Cherries, which propelled them to 15th position in the standings.

While praising Everton for the “important” victory, Lineker singled out Harrison’s attempt from beyond the box that gave the Toffees a 2-0 lead.

“Cracking finish it was too,” Lineker remarked. For Everton, it was a significant and stunning victory.

Harrison made a fantastic and valiant effort to score from outside the box. Many people overlooked Harrison’s return from injury amid their early-season struggles, and many did not anticipate him to have such a significant effect so fast.
