Musk seemed to have everything arranged for his trip to India before making his announcement. The CEO expressed his excitement for his upcoming meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on X.
Musk’s visit made sense at the time, since India recently announced new regulations for the production of electric vehicles that appear to be intended to draw in capital from firms like Tesla.
Musk was supposed to visit the nation on April 21 and 22, 2024, for two days, according to earlier sources. Musk was anticipated to meet with Prime Minister Modi as well as other important government officials during his visit.
