Unimaginable: Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla cancels his scheduled trip to India due to

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, cancels his scheduled trip to India. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has officially announced that he will not be traveling to India on April 21–22, 2024, as previously rumored.

The CEO stated that he is still excited to travel to India later this year, but he also gave his present workload at Tesla as the reason for the trip’s postponement.

Musk’s postponed trip was first reported on CNBC TV18 in India, but the CEO himself verified the information in a post on social networking platform X. Musk stated in his post, “Unfortunately, very significant Tesla duties dictate that travel to India be delayed, but I do very much look forward to coming later this year.

Elon Musk's Twitter mistake: He should have bought a platform that was video-forward.

Musk seemed to have everything arranged for his trip to India before making his announcement. The CEO expressed his excitement for his upcoming meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on X.

Musk’s visit made sense at the time, since India recently announced new regulations for the production of electric vehicles that appear to be intended to draw in capital from firms like Tesla.

Musk was supposed to visit the nation on April 21 and 22, 2024, for two days, according to earlier sources. Musk was anticipated to meet with Prime Minister Modi as well as other important government officials during his visit.

It was also said that he would meet with members of the industry. Industry insiders further asserted that during his visit to India, Musk would talk about Starlink and Tesla.

India may seem unattainable for Tesla, but Musk has acknowledged in a prior X Spaces session that the nation is growing in significance. Therefore, it would make sense for a business such as Tesla to take root in India.

Based on population, India is currently the most populated nation in the world. India ought to have electric vehicles, just like every other nation. The provision of Tesla electric automobiles in India is a logical next step, according to Musk.
