West Ham want a £60 million Arsenal star like Mason Mount.

Emile Smith Rowe, an Arsenal midfielder, is reportedly a target for West Ham, per TEAMtalk.

Since the 2021–22 season, Smith Rowe has not made a Premier League start, and it doesn’t seem like Mikel Arteta, the head coach, has any quick intentions for him.

He could not have been faulted for wanting to depart at the age of 23 in quest of consistent playing time.

Additionally, the attacking midfielder would do well to join West Ham under David Moyes.

The Hammers have improved recently, becoming a top-half Premier League squad that earlier this year even won the Europa Conference League.

With outstanding players like Jarrod Bowen, Edson Alvarez, and Lucas Paqueta, they are now taking part in the Europa League in the 2023–24 season.

How much was Smith Rowe going to cost?

Due to Mason Mount’s summer transfer to Manchester United, Smith Rowe is supposedly valued at £60 million by Arsenal.

With only a year left in his Chelsea contract, Mount cost United £55 million. However, Smith Rowe has a contract that runs through 2026.

While helping Chelsea win the Champions League in 2021, Mount had accomplished a great deal more in his career.

But Smith Rowe, who is perhaps a more naturally talented player, might reach that level if given the chance to succeed.

A move across London to the former Olympic Stadium could be exactly what the Englishman needs.
