Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri has emerged as a “prime target” for West Ham as they’re eyeing a goal scorer, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish media outlet reported on its website on Monday (21 August) that Sevilla are willing to consider the Morocco international’s sale as they need money to bring in new players.

90min journalist Toby Cudworth reported on 21 August that the Spanish side will be looking for a fee in the region of £35million to sell the 26-year-old.

Not again?

En-Nesyri has been perenially linked with a move to the London Stadium and the Hammers are once again looking to sign a striker post Gianluca Scamacca’s exit.

It’s evident that they need a top forward but the Moroccan is someone who’s snubbed the opportunity to move to the club in the past.

There is little to suggest that he would be open this time around as they’ve not really moved forward since finishing in the European places two seasons in a row.

West Ham

They’ve lost their two best players in Declan Rice and Gianluca Scamacca and potentially have another one in Lucas Paqueta on his way out.

David Moyes came close to being sacked last season and had it not been for the Conference League triumph, would not have been at the club.

En-Nesyri would be a shrewd acquisition if he’s signed but the links seem to convenient and West Ham may have to get realistic with their targets.
