Danny Ings seemingly won’t be signing for Everton this week as he prepares to stay with West Ham United.
That is according to The Times, who claim that Everton did ask about a potential deal to sign Ings this week.
However, Ings is ready to snub Sean Dyche and fight for his place with West Ham.
Ings only joined West Ham from Aston Villa back in January and seemingly isn’t ready to move on again.
Ings maybe hasn’t quite had the impact he wanted at West Ham.
The 31-year-old has only started seven Premier League games for West Ham and some off the bench 12 times.
Two goals and two assists is a record that Ings will want to improve upon at West Ham.
Reuniting with his former Burnley boss Dyche was surely appealing to some extent.
Ings – hailed as a ‘massive threat’ and ‘really dangerous’ by his former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp – is planning to stick it out with West Ham though, adamant that he can make an impact in East London.

Ings snubbing a move to Goodison Park is a blow for Everton but the Toffees are making moves.
Udinese striker Beto is on the verge of being presented as an Everton player well in advance of deadline day.
The Portuguese hitman is a big, physical presence at 6ft 4in tall and should be a strong fit for Dyche’s style of play.
Everton have also signed another Portuguese target man with teenager Youssef Chermiti arriving from Sporting.
The hope is that Beto and Chermiti can find some goals and ease the burden on the injury-prone Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Adding Ings would have made sense though, bringing in a proven Premier League striker to help imports Beto and Chermiti.
That seemingly isn’t happening but Dyche may just have one eye on Ings and his situation in case West Ham bring in other strikers this week.
