UPDATE: STRIKER IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR CHELSEA OR TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR.

Folarin Balogun: 'Super complete' striker faces uncertain future but Arsenal could regret letting him go | Football News | Sky Sports

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have both been connected with Folarin Balogun, but it appears that the Arsenal striker will not be moving to Stamford Bridge or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the summer transfer season.

Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have both expressed interest in Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are big London rivals, but that has not stopped rumours circulating regarding the future of Folarin Balogun.

Gazzetta dello Sport reported earlier this month that Tottenham are looking at Balogun as a potential replacement for England international Harry Kane, who joined Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Inter Milan are also reportedly keen on the 22-year-old USA international midfielder.

90min reported last week that Chelsea have enquired about a possible deal for Balogun.

The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have made contact with the representatives of the striker and also reached out to Arsenal.

Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey rates Balogun highly, and he told The Sun in June that the striker is “a very exciting player” and is “good enough for the Premier League”.

Balogun might become a member of AS Monaco.

However, it seems that the striker could move to AS Monaco in Ligue 1 instead.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that the USA international has already agreed personal terms with Monaco.

Romano has added that Arsenal and Monaco are now finalising the deal.

RMC Sport has claimed that the two clubs have already reached an agreement.

Now, it was always unlikely that Arsenal would sell Balogun to Chelsea or Tottenham.

After all, Arsenal and Tottenham are bitter North London rivals.

And Arsenal will not want to sell a young and promising striker such as Balogun to Chelsea and make the Blues stronger.

During his loan spell at Reims last season, Balogun scored 21 goals and gave two assists in 34 Ligue 1 starts.
