Tottenham are interested in Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku and have initiated contact for the striker
Spurs were linked with a move for Lukaku some days ago and it seems as if they have indeed started to make progress in their move for the Belgian.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Lukaku’s move to Juventus has stalled because there is no sign of a potential agreement between the two clubs. It is uncertain if talks between Chelsea and the Bianconeri will restart once again or not but for now, they have stopped.
In the last few hours, Spurs have indeed come forward for the Belgian and while the move is far from being in advanced stages, it is something to keep an eye on. Spurs believe that they need an established striker, even though they signed young Alejo Veliz.
It has been previously reported that Chelsea would not be against selling Lukaku to Spurs despite the intense rivalry between the sides, as it would help them get rid of an asset that they do not want anymore.
