Football Insider have reported that Fulham are now ready to battle Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Gent striker, Gift Orban. Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is traveling to Saudi Arabia, apparently has a list of substitutes prepared by Fulham, and the 21-year-old Nigerian made the cut.

Orban is reportedly one of just two attackers on Fulham’s radar to replace their Serbian goal machine, according to a source who spoke to Football Insider.

Tottenham and Fulham both like Gift Orban

Since Harry Kane’s transfer to Bayern, Tottenham has been closely associated with Gift Orban, and according to some rumors, Spurs is about to submit a formal proposal (Evening Standard).
Orban is definitely interested in moving to the Premier League this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, who verified this to GiveMeSport.

Spurs Web Thoughts:

Given that Gift Orban is the only striker with whom Spurs are routinely associated, I’d be shocked if they didn’t at least submit an offer. I am aware that Tottenham must first sell players, but there aren’t many strikers in N17, therefore they could later regret not acting sooner.
