After leading the Bhoys to a spectacular triple of titles last season, Postecoglou moved for Tottenham Hotspur.
He has always wanted to manage in the English Premier League, and as we would have predicted, he is tackling the new task with gusto.
He still has feelings for the Scottish champs, though, and he isn’t embarrassed to express them in public. It appears like Ange will always carry some Celtic with her.
When asked by Sky Sports if he misses Glasgow, the Spurs manager responded, “I liked my time there. I cherished my time spent both working at that football club and living in Glasgow. I try to watch their games each week, and I keep track of their results.
“I’ll always have a connection to the club. Simply put, what a great football team. Simply the way in which my family and I were handled and supported throughout the entire period. There, I feel a really deep connection.
Some supporters may criticise Postecoglou’s method of leaving the team. Really, nobody wanted to see him go. But there’s no denying that he built a strong bond while he was in Scotland.
