Postecoglou praise for Spurs’ outstanding leader and a Play Maker

Ange Postecoglou praised Son Heung-min, the captain of Tottenham Hotspur, for his excellent leadership and performance during the north London derby against Arsenal.

Son scored twice to level the game after Arsenal took the lead twice, helping Postecoglou’s side maintain their unbeaten start to the league season.

Since Harry Kane has left for Bayern Munich and Hugo Lloris has lost his place, Son has become the leader on the pitch for the new-look Tottenham side.

Postecoglou noted that Son has been outstanding as a leader and player and has been placed in the nine positions due to his hard work.

Tottenham have scored at least twice in Postecoglou’s first six Premier League games, making him one of the four managers to achieve this feat along with Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola, and Craig Shakespeare.

Although Tottenham had beaten Manchester United this season, their match against Arsenal away was considered as the real test of their resurgence under the former Celtic manager.

Postecoglou sent his side out with a positive mindset, and Tottenham fans were delighted with the performance.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta acknowledged that Tottenham is a good side with a great coach, but it is too early to make a judgment on what they will be fighting for at the end of the season after just six games.
