Micky Van de Ven and Manor Solomon seriously impressed with £15m Tottenham teammate.

Destiny Udogie continues to impress at Tottenham Hotspur and played another key role in their win over Burnley.

The teenage defender took to Instagram to celebrate yesterday’s 5-2 win at Turf Moor.

Tottenham had to recover from a humiliating Carabao Cup penalty shootout loss to Fulham.

It was Ange Postecoglou’s one chance to rotate, but none of his backups impressed.

Manor Solomon kept his starting spot and provided two crucial assists yesterday.

Son Heung-min stole the show with a spectacular hat-trick that put him back on the scoresheet.

Destiny Udogie provided another assist for Tottenham against Burnley yesterday, this time assisting James Maddison.

The £15m defender has been thrown straight into the starting line-up by Postecoglou this season.

He did very well on loan at Udinese after being purchased 12 months ago and has carried that form into the Premier League.

Udogie impresses for Tottenham against Burnley

Udogie stated on Instagram after the game, “Another great performance from the team!!” Let us go all in with more hunger.”

Micky Van de Ven responded by calling him a “Baller,” Japhet Tanganga added, “Another assist, thank you,” and Solomon just stated, “Big Dest.”

This season, Ange Postecoglou has asked his full-backs to play in an unusual manner.

Udogie is being told to bomb forward whenever possible, which fits his style of play perfectly.

He had a lot of goals and assists in Serie A and will be hoping for more in North London.

Udogie will also be required to play centrally in midfield, which will be unfamiliar territory for him.

It will put pressure on him when he is in possession, and despite being caught out a couple of times, he appears to be responding swiftly.

Burnley couldn’t handle Udogie yesterday, and Tottenham will be pleased with how fast he’s settled into the team.

He has now joined the Italian Under-21 squad for the upcoming international break.

If he keeps playing at this level for Spurs, it won’t be long until the senior side comes calling.
