Harry Kane: Tottenham has proposed a Bayern Munich swap proposal that will derail Liverpool’s plans while resolving a big Postecoglou issue.

Bayern Munich are still desperate to strike a deal with Tottenham for Harry Kane this summer and are reportedly ready to offer a Liverpool and Manchester City defensive target star to try and get the deal over the line.

The Bundesliga giants remain keen on thrashing out negotiations for the England skipper as soon as possible, with Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel having already met Kane to discuss the transfer.

The transfer fee remains the major sticking point, however, with Daniel Levy sticking to his guns as he still holds out hope that the 29-year-old pens the lucrative new contract offer on the table in north London.

However, of the three scenarios currently open to Kane, that one looks the most unlikely as he appears to head towards the exit door – either this summer or on a free in 2024.

The fact that the club’s record goalscorer has so far refused to pen that deal has altered Levy’s stance though, with the Spurs chairman willing to sell to a foreign club for the right price.

And despite seeing offers knocked back so far, 90min reports that the Bavarian side are set to ‘step up’ their pursuit of Kane and have recently organised another meeting with Levy to continue negotiations.

However, the Daily Express claims they are floating the idea of attaching a player to their next offer, with a fee of £86million set to be submitted following their previous cash-only bids being rejected.
