Tottenham Hotspur will transfer Tanguy Ndombele for between €15-€20 million (£12.9-£17 million) to a number of teams, including Nottingham Forest.

Despite being given another chance to recover his career at Tottenham, Tanguy Ndombele looks to have reached the end of his tenure in North London.

This summer, it was expected that Ndombele would be given an opportunity by new manager Ange Postecoglou. It was also believed that Ndombele’s attitude in training had improved throughout the early parts of pre-season (Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham podcast).

However, Postecoglou was apparently dissatisfied with Ndombele’s demeanor, and the Frenchman was later made available for transfer (The Sun).

Until recently, Galatasaray were believed to be leading the race to sign Ndombele, but were only willing to offer just under £7m for the player (Dogru Haber).

In the last week, French side Rennes have also emerged as a potential suitor for the playmaker (Le10Sport).

Tottenham set Tanguy Ndombele asking price

Now, the latest from RMC on the matter reveals a whole host of clubs are still tracking Ndombele this summer, and we may now know the price tag Tottenham have put on the player.

Apparently, clubs such as Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Rennes and even Premier League big-spenders Nottingham Forest are all keen on Ndombele. To secure his services it is expected to cost between €15-20m (£12.9-17m).

The issue is that Ndombele’s exit from London looks to be “blocked,” with Spurs seeking to sell him outright and other teams attempting loan deals.

For example, Forest is considered to be interested in a loan with a purchase obligation. Tottenham have previously rejected a similar offer from Fenerbahce and are set to “do the same” with the Premier League club’s bid.

The source claims that Galatasaray are “set to welcome” Ndombele to the club, although no specifics of a probable deal between Spurs and the Turkish club have been revealed.

Spurs Web Opinion

We have to sell Ndombele this summer, and have to be prepared to take a huge hit on him. Honestly, at this stage, I think we should just ask for £10m and have done with it. No loan deals, no messing around, just clear him out and move on.
