Tragically, Miami, Florida boating disaster claimed Anton Walkes’ life.

Walkes was a player for Atlanta United and Portsmouth before joining Charlotte FC in the Major League Soccer. He made one first-team appearance for Tottenham after rising through the ranks as a young player. Atlanta, Portsmouth, Tottenham, Charlotte FC, and Atlanta have all honoured the 25-year-old.

Anton Walkes, a defender for Charlotte FC, unfortunately lost his life in a Miami boat accident.
The former Tottenham and Portsmouth defender was found unconscious after two boats collided close to Miami Marine Stadium, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Miami Fire Rescue then performed CPR on him.

Walkes left fellow MLS team Atlanta United after almost two years to join # in December 2021.
