The Argentine was brilliant defensively and was a rock at the back for Tottenham.

Romero dealt well with the power of Dominic Solanke, made some timely headers, made the right tackles at the right time, and was a leader in defence.

As for Maddison, the England international playmaker was one of the best players on the pitch.

The former Leicester City attacking midfielder scored a good goal after missing a good chance and pulled the strings from midfield.

Tottenham have made a really good start to the new Premier League season and are playing well at the moment.

Spurs are scoring goals and creating chances, and they do not seem to be missing Harry Kane much.

England international striker Kane joined Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
