The NFL Playoffs saw the Tampa Bay Buccaneers make an unexpected showing. Baker Mayfield performed admirably at quarterback during their first season without Tom Brady.
The fact that Tampa Bay defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in the wild card round further demonstrated the potential this squad have going forward.
During the offseason, general manager Jason Licht re-signed key players like wide receiver Mike Evans and quarterback Baker Mayfield. Even though the Bucs lost a few key players, they are incredibly well-positioned for the 2024 NFL Draft. Here is a complete 7-round Buccaneers mock draft for the yearly competition.

2024 Mock draft for Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Using youthful depth
First round, 26th pick: Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry
In an attempt to save money, Tampa Bay dealt starter cornerback Carlton Davis to the Detroit Lions earlier in the summer. For the Buccaneers, aside from Jamel Dean, there isn’t much to get excited about in this position. In the 2024 NFL Draft, Licht and company most definitely need to talk about it at least once.
McKinstry came to Tuscaloosa as a five-star recruit and started for the Crimson Tide for three seasons. Since the beginning of his rookie season in 2021, he has been projected as a first-round selection. He is strong at the line, intelligent about football, and able to keep up with outside receivers who are more athletic. We’re talking about a Day 1 starter, to put it briefly.
Round two, position 57 overall: Zach Frazier, a West Virginia center
Last season, Robert Hainsey did a fantastic job taking Ryan Jensen’s place at center, the franchise legend. The former Notre Dame player selected in the third round is expected to be the long-term starter at center.
Frazier would move to guard if he was selected in the second round. He began working for West Virginia in this capacity as a freshman in 2020. The 6-foot-3 offensive tackle started for the Mountaineers for four years and was recognized with numerous awards. He might be the Buccaneers’ first-day starter at a position of great need.
Third round, 89th overall: Michigan running back Blake Corum
Some will bring up Corum’s lack of exceptional physical prowess. On every play, he won’t pose a threat to take it to the house. At the next level, he will be more of an inside runner. That’s all very well. But one cannot ignore the impact of the production he made at Michigan. We’re talking about a back who, throughout his final three seasons with the Wolverines, averaged 5.0 yards per touch and amassed nearly 4,000 yards total with 59 touchdowns.
As the Bucs’ primary running back last season, Rachaad White had a strong showing, racking up 1,539 total yards and nine touchdowns. In addition, he caught 64 passes out of the backfield for 549 yards. Tampa Bay may find it too hard to resist the temptation to start this two-headed monster at running back.
