Heyward has been a member of the Steelers throughout his whole NFL career.
Cam Heyward, a veteran defensive lineman with the Pittsburgh Steelers, learned that his former quarterback had expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s present situation.
Ben Roethlisberger, the two-time Super Bowl champion, expressed doubts recently about whether the Steelers’ illustrious traditions were being undermined, following the team’s depressing loss to the faltering New England Patriots.
Roethlisberger also made criticisms of leadership and coaching. In addition, he expressed open doubts about which players on the team would lead by example.
During his recent appearance on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, Heyward, a six-time Pro Bowler, addressed Roethlisberger’s pointed critique.
Ben has a viewpoint. I disagree, but he has a right to do that, Heyward remarked. These past two games have been difficult for us, but the Steelers approach is to persevere through difficult times without giving up.” Though there is much to be done, tradition begins with winning games, playing a strong defense, and scoring points.

The 2023 season for the Steelers has been rather unpredictable.
A rare in-season coaching change was made by the squad after they had been very ineffective offensively for the majority of the season. Former head coach Mike Tomlin announced last month that Matt Canada, the offensive coordinator, had been let go.
Injuries have also befallen Pittsburgh, with quarterback Kenny Pickett and standout pass rusher T.J. Watt suffering recent setbacks.
