The driver, Lucy Kurowski, 20, said in an exclusive interview with FOX 11’s Michelle Melby that she was leaving a hair appointment in De Pere when she felt something wasn’t right.
“I’m stuck in my automobile when I get in. I mean, I’m stuck with it. I’m unable to proceed,” Kurowski remarked.
On January 12, 2024, during Blizzard Bennett, Lucy Kurowski, 20, of De Pere, received the shock of her life when Packers quarterback Jordan Love offered to assist her in getting her car unstuck. (WLUK)
She described how she witnessed a man pass by her dressed in Nike gear that resembled what the Packers players wear to games. “I did a triple take after doing a double take. A couple times we looked at one another, but he was getting into his car. I wanted to avoid disturbing him.
Kurowski kept attempting to free her car from the jam as the man drove off. She was shocked when the driver turned around and approached her.
As soon as he exits his vehicle, he asks, “Are you okay?” Kurowski said. And I thought to myself, ‘Are you Jordan Love?'” I was sulking.”
Love allegedly then offered to assist Kurowski in pushing her car out of the snow. Despite the fact that neither of them succeeded, Kurowski claimed she would never forget it.
“It was so unbelievable to me. Nothing felt genuine. I was stunned,” the woman remarked. She went on to say that Love was the most charming, modest, and grounded person she had ever met; in fact, she had agreed to snap a selfie with her to remember the occasion.
Kurowski’s family shared the image on social media after receiving it from her. After then, it went viral.
“It’s really taking off, and I believe that everyone is realizing that he’s not just a fantastic player but also an amazing person,” Kurowski remarked. “He’s a fantastic encapsulation of Green Bay.”
