Early Life and High School Career

Penei Sewell was born on October 9, 2000, in Malaeimi, American Samoa. He grew up in a family of athletes and was introduced to football at a young age. Sewell attended Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah, where he played football and basketball.
College Career
Sewell received a scholarship to play football at the University of Oregon. As a freshman in 2018, he started 13 games at left tackle and helped the Ducks win the Pac-12 Championship. In 2019, Sewell started 14 games and was named a consensus All-American. He opted out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Professional Career
