Kipre is not usually one for a goal, having scored just three in 42 goals while on loan at Cardiff City last season, but took his chance in emphatic style just three games into West Brom’s season this time out.

West Brom improving again
Despite the Baggies’ well-documented issues up front this season after injuries plagued them and signings looked unlikely, the rest of the squad has stepped up to provide the goals, with Kipre the latest among them.
The defender’s future at the Hawthorns was uncertain as he spent last season on loan with Championship rivals Cardiff, but has returned to the starting lineup and will have made a lasting impression on Carlos Corberan, taking his chance as best he could.
West Brom are looking to earn their second victory of the season after winning their last home fixture against Swansea and scored two goals to put themselves ahead and gain a chance of hanging on to the points against a Boro side who have struggled so far this season.
The Baggies’ home form seems to be bettering their away record so far this season, and turning the Hawthorns into a fortress could be key if they still retain hopes of gaining promotion this season despite the turmoil off the pitch.
