Question.
Really asking. I had a long conversation with a maga family yesterday. Neighbors of a niece who isn’t maga, but is Republican.
I will spare you the insanity of portions of it. But one thing is almost ALWAYS true, when I talk to these kinds of voters.
Every single one of them personally knows someone who is getting a few government phone, even though they make good money.
,Every single one of them have personally witnessed people selling p food stamps, for cash. I always ask: YOU actually have seen this. Answer: Yes.
Every single one of them personally know of a woman who decided she didn’t want her child so had a “late term” abortion.
Every singing one of them claims they personally know people with plenty of money, but are taking food stamps
Every single one of them personally knows a family with food jobs, getting free lunch for their kids.
Now… I’m 66 years old.
I have never seen any of this or personally known of people pulling off these scams (selling food stamps or getting food stamps when they have plenty of money)
I know none. I have never ever seen someone selling food stamps. I have no doubt that everything has at least one person gaming the system. But EVERY maga personally knows the fraud and I have never personally met the fraud.
So my question is this (and I really want to know.)
Do people here personally know and/or have experienced one or more of the above?
I really would like to know, because my brain starts to cramp when all the maga have these stories and no one I know has them.
I truly welcome insight.

(And yes, in certain situations I do try to treat maga with respect. So please do attack me. I am looking for an answer, please. Not an admonishment. Thank you for not lecturing me.)
