Leeds United seek to seal a last-ditch Lewis O’Brien signing as a £10 million loan-to-buy update surfaces.
The newspaper journalist reported on his Patreon on 27 August that the Premier League side are demanding £10million to let the 24-year-old leave the City Ground this summer.
But he said the Whites are keen on landing a loan move for the midfielder, with a clause included in the deal that will mean they have to buy him if they secure promotion back up to the top flight.

This could be a tricky deal to complete as Nixon points out that Forest want to recoup the £10million they paid Huddersfield Town to sign O’Brien last summer.
After he had a disappointing first season in the Premier League, it’s unlikely Leeds are going to fork out that much money initially for him.
The midfielder only made 17 appearances at the Nottingham club before he went out on loan to MLS side D.C. United in March, where he played 19 games before returning in July.
The Whites are keen to add their options in the middle of the park after a number of key players have moved on already this summer and it’s a position where they are a little bit light.
Although they want to bring O’Brien in on loan and tie him down to a permanent deal if they get promoted, the journalist said Forest fear that the West Yorkshire club may not go back up and that he would end up returning to them next summer.
