“It’s not goodbye but see you again” A Star Player For Eagl Is Suspended Again Due To…..

EAGLES ADD SUSPENDED CB ISAIAH RODGERS, FORMER COLTS PLAYER INVOLVED IN NFL’S BETTING MANHUNT

The Philadelphia Eagles made an intriguing pickup in this player.

After Isaiah Rodgers, a former cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts, officially signed with the Eagles on Monday, general manager Howie Roseman and the team are taking a chance.

After an NFL investigation determined that Isaiah Rodgers, Indy linebacker Rashod Berry, and Demetrius Taylor had broken the league’s betting rules, the Colts released Rodgers in late June.

The decision was made by Eagles general manager Howie Roseman just one day before the NFL roster cutoff date. All 32 NFL teams have until August 29 at 4 p.m. (EDT) to reduce their rosters to 53 players.

In terms of the kind of guy Roseman and the Eagles are hoping to acquire, Rodgers is a fifth-round pick in 2020 who has experience at both cornerback and special teams returner.

In three seasons, Rodgers has amassed 90 total tackles and three interceptions.

Rodgers is placed on the Eagles’ reserve/suspended list upon his formal arrival. The NFL gave Rodgers an indefinite suspension. Rodgers anticipates missing a year before perhaps making a comeback.

This offseason, Rodgers was involved in the NFL’s search on gambling.

The NFL announced a flurry of penalties aimed at players connected to illicit sports betting one year after former Falcons star Calvin Ridley was hit with a season-long ban.

The NFL neither disclosed the name of the Colts running back Aaron Rodgers’ wager nor the outcome of the wager, as OutKick’s Geoff Clark reported. This was merely the most egregious of Rodgers’ violations of the NFL gambling policy. Additionally, Rodgers made “upward of 100 bets.”
