Dan Plumley has claimed that if Guochuan Lai were to entirely sell West Brom, £60 million would not be the worst possible sum in the world.
According to The Daily Mail, Lai wants to totally sell his stake despite Mohamed El Kashashy’s willingness to invest a minority of his money in the team.
As long as the team is not in the Premier League, Plumley acknowledged that Lai will never recoup the amount he paid for it.
