Dan Chisena is leaving…Dan Chisena is an American football wide receiver currently playing for the Carolina Panthers. Born on February 25, 1997, in Paoli, Pennsylvania, Chisena grew up in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and attended Downingtown East High School. He was a talented athlete, playing football and track, and even won gold in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4×100 relay at the 2015 PIAA Class AAA Outdoor State Championship.¹

Chisena played college football at Penn State, where he started as a walk-on and eventually earned a track scholarship. However, he left the track team after two seasons due to injury and returned to the football team. He played in 12 games as a senior, catching three passes for 66 yards.

After going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, Chisena signed with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent. He made the team’s 53-man active roster and played in 14 games as a rookie, primarily on special teams. Chisena has since had stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, and now the Carolina Panthers, where he signed a one-year deal on March 12, 2025.²
