Patrick Mahomes is a devoted parent and spouse.
On February 20, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs observed his daughter Sterling’s third birthday. He wrote on Instagram, “Happy 3rd birthday Sterling Skye! My [heart] is with you! Give up on maturing so quickly!”
A week prior, on February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Mahomes had celebrated his team’s victory over the San Francisco 49ers in overtime to win their second consecutive Super Bowl title. Joining him in the celebration were Sterling, his wife Brittany Mahomes, and their son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III.
In a pregame press conference, Patrick Mahomes talked about his communication strategy with his children while he’s not with them.
Yes, I talk to them all day long on FaceTime and always do so when I’m not with them. According to People magazine, he told reporters, “Bronze is running around now, starting to walk,” and that it’s always fantastic when he gets to chat to them.
Since their high school years, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have been together. After welcoming their first child in 2021, the pair were married on March 12, 2022. In November 2022, they welcomed their second child.
After having two children of his own, the NFL player talked about what it meant to be a father in an interview with “Good Morning America” in 2023.
He said, “It gives you a different perspective,” at the moment. “You enjoy every day so much more and having them, the years fly by and just try to do whatever I can to enjoy the little moments.”

In Whitehouse, Texas, on August 31, 1995, Brittany Mahomes was born. Brittany Mahomes played soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler after enrolling there after high school.
After graduating from college, she joined with the Icelandic professional soccer team Afturelding/Fram in the same year that Patrick Mahomes was taken by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the NFL draft.
Before delivering their first child in 2021, the couple got engaged in 2020. A year later, in March 2022, they were married in a secret ceremony on Hawaii’s Maui.
Brittany Mahomes founded her own business, Brittany Lynne Fitness, providing clients with training regimens that are led. Along with her spouse, she co-founded the Kansas City Current in 2021 as a National Women’s Soccer League expansion franchise.
The 2024 SI Swimsuit Rookie title was recently added by Brittany Mahomes to her already outstanding list of achievements in both her personal and professional life.
On the beaches of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize, she posed for this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, which is celebrating its 60th year. She was wearing a red one-piece suit by Mugler.
The football player used an Instagram post with a cute photo of his daughter’s little hand encircling his finger to announce the birth of his daughter. In the picture, Brittany Mahomes was also donning a necklace bearing the name of their infant daughter.
He captioned the photo with the words “Sterling Skye Mahomes ❤️ 2/20/21.”
Many of Sterling’s first-ever events, including as her first Father’s Day, Halloween, and Christmas, have been documented by Brittany Mahomes on Instagram.
Sterling participated in the couple’s wedding as a flower girl as well. She also adores her father, frequently showing up at his games with his number on her person.
The third birthday of Sterling was marked by an outdoor celebration with a bouncy house and floral and butterfly décor provided by the family.

Bronze Lavon Mahomes III, Patrick
On November 29, 2022, the couple welcomed Bronze into the world, a 1-year-old. Their son’s birth was revealed on Instagram, where they shared a picture of the baby’s legs wearing a brown and white onesie along with the boy’s name as the only remark.
They wrote, “Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III 🤴🏽11/28/22 7lbs 8oz 🤍,” at the time.
Bronze celebrated a new milestone in a cute snapshot that Brittany Mahomes uploaded last March. She added text to the picture that said, “My boy.”
