RB Ameer Abdullah is back with the Raiders.

Abdullah joined the Raiders as an unrestricted free agency in 2022 and has played for the Silver and Black for the past two seasons.

He is one of just 10 Raiders to have played in every game since 2022. He has participated in all 34 games throughout his two seasons in Las Vegas. He has 994 all-purpose yards since joining the Raiders, which includes 342 receiving yards and one score on 44 receptions, 109 rushing yards on 19 rushes (5.7 avg.), and 543 return yards on 26 kickoff returns (20.9 avg for the season).

During his nine seasons in the NFL, Abdullah played for the Detroit Lions (2015–18) as their second-round (54th overall) draft pick in 2015, the Minnesota Vikings (2018–21), and the Carolina Panthers (2021) before joining the Raiders. The 203-pound, 5-foot-9 running back has made 23 starts in 125 career games and has gained 1,683 yards (3.9 average) on 428 runs in addition to eight touchdowns from 163 receptions for 1,207 yards. In addition, he has returned 142 kickoffs for 3,487 yards on average (24.6).

Birmingham, Alabama born Abdullah attended Nebraska for four years (2011–14), starting all 53 games and finishing with 4,744 yards and 29 touchdowns on 813 runs (5.8 average) in addition to 73 receptions for 690 yards and seven touchdowns. At the conclusion of his college career, he became the only player in the school’s history to have at least 1,000 rushing yards in three different seasons.
