Kansas City Chiefs heiress Ava Hunt is rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery after falling down a MOUNTAIN while hiking

The Kansas City Chiefs have suffered their first major injury of the preseason, but the 18-year-old daughter of team owner Clark Hunt is fortunately on the mend after emergency surgery.

Ava Hunt, the youngest daughter of Chiefs owner Clark and his beauty-queen wife Tavia, suffered a serious wound after falling on a mountain hike this week. As a result, she has since undergone a successful surgery.

‘This little thang fell down the mountain today on a hike [and] went to the ER for surgery on a deep wound,’ Tavia revealed on Instagram alongside a smiling picture of herself and Ava. ‘It’s been a looong day. Praise God she’s in recovery and already smiling. Please pray for a quick [and] complete recovery!’

The SMU cheerleader is already putting a happy face on the painful situation.

After getting released from the hospital, she enjoyed couch surfing in front of some Simone Biles highlights from the ongoing Paris Olympics.
