Breaking News: The Fight Between Anthony Joshua Vs Tyson Fury Has Been Postponed Due To…………..

Fury wants to fight Joshua following Usyk.

WBC champion Tyson Fury has dismissed suggestions of retirement and is focused on a battle against former champion Anthony Joshua following his decisive victory over Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, according to Saturday PUNCH.

Fury announced a bold five-fight schedule that included the eagerly anticipated matchup with Anthony Joshua.

The WBC champion Fury was scheduled to fight Usyk, the owner of the WBO, WBA, and IBF belts, in a unification match later this month in Riyadh.

But after the British fighter sustained a nasty cut above his eye while training, the much awaited battle was rescheduled for May 18 in Saudi Arabia.

Regardless of the result of their first fight, Fury plans to rematch Usyk of Ukraine. After that, he plans to face Francis Ngannou, whom he defeated in October, one or two more times before taking on former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

On his Instagram page on Thursday, Fury said, “I keep hearing talk of people saying I should retire or I’m going to retire soon or whatever,” while sporting sutures over the gash above his eye.

“I’m not going to retire. I have twice scheduled fights for the undisputed with Usyk. After that, if Joshua wants a rematch after I give him a beating, I’m going to fight him at least once, if not twice.

“After that, I’ll battle Ngannou once more. That’s only the beginning. Five fights are available for you to pique your interest. I am not going away. I am in the peak of my life at 35 years old.

Since going professional in 2008, Fury has won 34 bouts and drawn one.

In his most recent bout, he defeated Ngannou, a professional boxer who had previously won the UFC mixed martial arts championship, in a contentious decision. The Cameroonian knocked Fury down, but Fury prevailed via split decision.

On March 8, Joshua, the two-time former world champion, will face Ngannou in a non-title bout that will take place in Saudi Arabia.
