Jalen Hurts of the Eagles Responds incoherently to a future question posed by Nick Siranni
Unlike many of his colleagues, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts remained silent when asked if he wanted head coach Nick Srianni back.
TAMPA – Nick Sirianni’s job security was protected by the players when they were questioned about him in the locker room.
However, one player at the podium had the chance to make a stronger case for the Philadelphia Eagles head coach’s return, but instead he just raised questions.
And that player is quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is the team’s most vital player.
Hurts did not respond positively or negatively when asked in the early hours of Tuesday morning if he wanted his coach back following the 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hours earlier.
Hurts remarked, “I didn’t know he was going anywhere.”
The quarterback claimed he was unaware of the rumors circulating regarding Sirianni’s employment during the Eagles’ seven-game losing streak, which saw them fall from 10-1 to 11-7.
Hurts responded, “I have a ton of trust in everyone in this building; it’s just a question of us going out there and playing clean football,” when asked if he was certain Sirianni was the appropriate person to turn things around. That is something we haven’t carried out.
In contrast to some other guys, like edge rusher Haason Reddick, it’s not exactly a resounding recommendation.
He remarked, “Everyone knows it’s tough to be a head coach in the league.” “With everything we were going through last year, there was a lot of affection for him. However, as you are aware, this year also had ups and downs, and many people felt however they felt about it. However, Nick is not the only one to blame for what transpired. This is a team endeavor that requires cooperation from both coaches and players.
“It’s hard to understand the second half of the season; it’s difficult and I have no explanation for that,” right tackle Lane Johnson continued. “As far as those guys, I love my coaches and teammates.” For the past 11 years, I’ve been willing to fight with those individuals, but the NFL is a business. I have no idea what the future has in store.
Regarding himself, Sirianni stated he wasn’t considering the stability of his employment.
He remarked, “I’m not thinking about that.” “I’m considering the boys.” There are many guys in that changing area. that poured their entire being into this.
“I don’t worry about myself. I’m not. I’m simply trying to be there for our guys and staff through this difficult period as head coach.
