Breaking News: NFL Suspend Cleveland Browns Not To Play In………

The NFL suspends wounded wide receiver Michael Woods of the Browns for six games for breaking the personal conduct code.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Michael Woods, a wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns, was suspended by the NFL on Friday for the final six games of the current campaign due to his violation of the personal conduct rules.

Woods, an Oklahoma native and sixth-round pick in 2021, has missed the whole season due to an Achilles tendon tear. He had surgery in April after suffering an injury while working out with quarterback Deshaun Watson in Texas over the offseason.

The league withheld further information regarding Woods’ suspension.

Last season, the 23-year-old saw action in 10 games for the Browns and finished with five receptions for 45 yards. He was useful on special teams as well.

Prior to his injury, the Browns had hoped that Woods would play a more significant role in 2023.
