Breakiing News: Joe Burrow Has Announces His Departure In………….

Updates on Joe Burrow’s return to action following a season-ending injury

Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, will hopefully be back on the field in May following a wrist injury that ended his NFL career.

Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, has provided fans with a much-needed update regarding the injury that ended his 2023 season. After suffering a wrist injury that eliminated his chances of competing for Super Bowl LVIII, he aims to return to action by May.

In an interview with media on Monday, he disclosed that he might return to competition six months following his injury. When he gets back, he also intends to participate in full-contact training.

“I think the middle of May is when I am expecting to kind of be cleared for full contact and everything,” Burrow told ESPN. “Over the next month [to] month and a half, we’ll kind of decide all those things.”

Burrow also disclosed that he will continue with his regular training regimen for the next two months, which includes holding off on throwing until OTAs—something he has done his entire career—and that he is now able to lift weights as usual during his recuperation.

The quarterback for the Bengals finished a rigorous twelve-week program as part of his rehabilitation. Burrow acknowledged that it was challenging but essential, and he feels optimistic about the future.

Burrow completed 244 throws for 2,309 yards and 15 touchdowns prior to his injury. When he was healthy, the team even triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs twice. The Bengals’ 3-1 record against Kansas City while Burrow is on the team demonstrates how potent their offense is.

With the $275 million (£203 million) five-year contract he inked in 2023, Burrow became the highest-paid player in NFL history. The Bengals extended exclusive rights tender offers to backup quarterback Jake Browning and long snapper Cal Adomitis for the 2024 campaign in February.

Browning guided the squad to four victories while Burrow was sidelined. In seven games, he completed 70.4% of his passes for 12 touchdowns. However, nine-year veteran quarterback A. J. was released.

There are currently just two quarterbacks available for McCarron. With the 16th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Bengals are expected by NFL analysts to address needs at cornerback, tight end, offensive tackle, defensive tackle, and maybe receiver.

Cincinnati is expected to select Alabama offensive tackle JC Latham in the mock draft, particularly since Jonah Williams, the team’s current tackle, is expected to test free agency.

Cincinnati will have nine selections total in the draft—two in the fifth and seventh rounds and one in each of the first seven rounds. The team is rumored to be looking for a tight end, and if Brock Bowers of Georgia drops out of the draft, they might be interested in him.
