The signing of Brooke Norton-Cuffy by Millwall Football Club on loan from Arsenal until the conclusion of the 2023–24 season was welcomed by the club. Gary Rowett has now added Norton-Cuffy, a 19-year-old right defender, making him his sixth acquisition of the summer transfer window.

The fact that Brooke will be moving on loan to Millwall will be his fourth in a year, demonstrating both his brilliance and adaptability. Prior to this, he played 45 times for Lincoln City, Rotherham United, and Coventry City while on loan from other teams.

Early in his career, Norton-Cuffy made a name for himself with impressive performances when on loan at League One club Lincoln City in 2022. His development continued with a strong stint with Coventry City, when he made a vital contribution to the team’s march to the Championship play-off final.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brooke to the club,” said Alex Aldridge, director of football operations and recruitment at Millwall. He has exciting qualities that we think may truly boost Gary’s group, and he is highly regarded by Arsenal both as a player and as a person.

He further added, “Brooke joins us after a year of playing in The Championship over two loan spells last season, as well as in important Play-Off games for Coventry, and those experiences will no doubt stand him in good stead to make a positive impact in a Millwall shirt.”

The player will wear the number 17 shirt during his time with Millwall and is available for selection for Saturday’s clash with Stoke City.
