Kansas City, Missouri. Arrowhead Stadium is one of the NFL’s most iconic sites, and fans appear to agree.
In a survey conducted by USA Today, a panel picked ten stadiums and readers voted on which were the best for giving improved game experiences.
Arrowhead was voted as the best stadium and and having the best stadium foods.
Reasons for the high ranking included Kansas City’s renowned tailgating experience that boasts some of the nation’s best BBQ and the in-game atmosphere, where fans set the Guinness World Record in 2014 for loudest outdoor stadium at 142.2 decibels.
The boisterous atmosphere has remained the same a decade later.
Arrowhead was also lauded for its autonomous stores and self-service kiosks that help cut down on the time you spend in line.
Arrowhead was completed in 1972 and has consistently been one of the toughest places for opposing teams to play.
The spotlight on the stadium has only increased with the Chiefs recent dominance over the NFL.
