Breaking News: Will Kareem Hunt Ever Return to Kansas City to play with the chiefs admist…

Even though it is early in the season, the Kansas City Chiefs are prepared to face the Los Angeles Chargers in an important AFC West matchup. Fortunately for them, they will have some aid in the backfield as Kareem Hunt has made his return to the team and will be active this Sunday, at least that is the idea.

He signed with the practice squad last week and was swiftly added to the 53-man roster. Following his stint with the Browns in Cleveland, he was open about his views toward the Kansas City franchise, which provided him with the opportunity to face the AFC North team.

“Honestly, no, I didn’t expect to be back here,” Hunt remarked during his first engagement with the media. “But it’s crazy how some things happen to work out.” The running back was released by the squad after a video of him throwing a woman to the ground and kicking her outside his home surfaced in 2018. Now he is back with the Chiefs.

A second spell with much to look forward to.

Head coach Andy Reid has stated that he has watched Kareem Hunt mature, which the player has admitted he believes is accurate. “I was very young at that time, 23, had a lot of success going for me, and felt like I guess I needed time to figure myself out and learn,” Hunt told me.

He stated that his experience in Cleveland was extremely beneficial to him, and he is now looking forward to assisting the Chiefs in their quest for another title. “I feel like it was good for me to do that, had the opportunity to go to the Browns and stuff, and that’s my hometown, so I guess it worked out.”

In 2017, he carried for 1.327 yards for Kansas City, and his greatest season with the Browns was 2020, when he rushed for 841 yards and formed a solid combination with Nick Chubb. Now that Isiah Pacheco is injured, the workload will fall on him as the season unfolds.
