Breaking News: Frank Ragnow Just Announced His Departure In….

Frank Ragnow plans to continue playing for the Lions in 2024.

After the NFC Championship Game, Lions center Frank Ragnow stated that he needed more time to get his bearings. This statement raised concerns in Detroit that Ragnow would decide to retire. However, Ragnow said at the NFL Honors ceremony on Thursday night that he had finally come to a decision: he will play in 2024.

Ragnow told the Detroit Free Press, “I’m not retiring.”

Although Ragnow sustained many injuries during the playoffs and acknowledged at the end of the season that the physical strain was wearing on him, he appeared content at NFL Honors and suggested that none of his ailments will have a major influence on his offseason.

Ragnow remarked, “I just need a few weeks to get healthy.”

The Lions have a three-year contract with one of the top centers in the NFL, 27-year-old Ragnow. His remarks spoken in the midst of his frustration at losing in the playoffs don’t seem to take away from his apparent bright future in Detroit.
