What did the managers say?

Philippe Clement: “I’m really happy with that because it’s also well deserved and the players are working hard. I’m really happy from the first second that I stepped into this club, I feel this group of players, but also the staff around everybody in the club doing it, their maximum to to go my way to follow the story and they’re all working hard. So if you work hard, you need to get also some satisfaction after, and an evening like this. It’s very important in that way. So the players can be satisfied this evening and happy and enjoy their time with the family. But because that’s football, I expect everyone to be focused once more on Prague starting tomorrow. Alright, so we’re in the championship match, but ultimately, it doesn’t matter if you’re in the semifinals, the final, or the quarterfinals. It has to do with coming out on top. We have not yet arrived.

Barry Robson: “My players have me incredibly proud.” We’ve played four games in nine days, rested one day less than Hibs, and yet we still managed to fight and prove it, which tells me how strong and resilient we are. It’s been challenging. We couldn’t pursue them as much as we would have liked, so we had to be very strategic. It’s not feasible. to demonstrate that spirit and character matter far more than skill and aptitude. Wow, what a performance from my players, coming off all those travels. We have to have faith. We now think. We’re making every effort. In football, you can never get too carried away.I’m the winner, I want my team to win, and we’re excited for the championship game. But before then, we have a ton of really important games to play. The underdog in these big, important games is where we want to be.
